What is Traditional rug hooking?
Traditional Rug hooking is the creation of beautiful, tapestry-like wall hangings and carpets, using a hook (a crochet hook in a wooden handle) and strips of wool fabric.

About Karen
Karen Kaiser is a graphic artist by trade and an artist by birth and is originally from Kingston, ON. She has a teaching certificate from Peterborough Teachers College. She has worked as a graphic designer in sales and advertising. Karen managed West Moira Orchards with her husband, Kurt, for 23 years. As a lifelong artist, she continues to create and experiment with many mediums.
Karen has been a Traditional Rug Hooker since 2001.

Directions
Only 5 minutes from Highway 401.
From the 401 go south on Hwy 62. This becomes North Front Street in town.
Turn left at the first light (Bell Blvd.)
Turn right at first light (North Park St.)
Turn left just after the Holy Rosary Church (McFee St.)
Chown Crescent is at the end. We are the second house on your left on Chown.
